Sipes Adult Home Care provides professional care to aging
loved ones in a comfortable, home environment.
Owner, Cindy Sipes, RN has provided
adult family homecare since 1992 and is certified in
Dementia and Mental Health. Her rich
experience (see About Us) working at Virginia Mason and Group
Health Hospitals in orthopedics, neurology, and respiratory
nursing allows her to meet the needs of elderly loved ones.
As a teen she developed close relationships with and respect
for some elderly role models. Subsequently,
she found Adult Homecare to be the perfect career. She and her
staff support the elderly in their last
years by giving them respect for everything they have
experienced; in a place that cares for them as individuals.
Success is measured at Sipes Adult Homecare by the
significant bonds that are built between caregiver and
resident. This is a compassionate residence with the ability
to manage every healthcare issue that may develop.
Caring for an aging loved one can be difficult and
frustrating. Often, the most challenging question is where
the loved one should live? Options abound, from bringing care into
the loved one's home to moving the loved one into an assisted living
environment, an adult home, or a nursing
home. Care needs can vary from supervising medications
to managing chronic debilitating medical conditions and
providing hospice services.
Each option has advantages and disadvantages.
At times some options are no
longer possible. Typically, given the choice, most elderly
people will
choose their own home so as to retain a feeling of
independence. However, when the needs of the loved
are complex, adult homecare may be the best
solution.
If you or a loved one are interested in exploring the option
of professionally supported adult home care, please call
