The “Beige House” opened its
doors in December 2003 and was completely remodeled to
provide the finest in Adult Homecare. Nearly everything was
replaced, except the wonderful view of Mount Rainier.
Four bedrooms were updated
with all new furnishings, window treatments and carpet. The
central bathroom was enlarged to accommodate wheelchairs and
provide easy access bathing, and was finished with all new cabinets and
fixtures. The dining room has all new hardwood floors.
The
kitchen has all new cabinets. And, the family room was
updated into an attractive, warm day area.
Outside time has been enhanced
with an all new backyard. Multiple plantings, grassy areas,
and a new same level deck with a shade canopy make the
superb private backyard with a wonderful place to spend time
in the summer. Window boxes, annuals, and perennials
surround the house making it very lovely and inviting.
Peggy, the resident manager,
provides a unique sense of warmth and laughter. She
has years of experience and her caring nature sets her apart. Whether it is singing, joking, or a tender touch; Peggy
provides a stability and bond that makes for a cozy home
environment. In addition, her dog, Millie, makes "The Beige House"
a very lively place for both clients and families.
